Senior PSU Meteorology major Lexie Herdt worked with Dr. Amy Huff and Bill Ryan during summer 2014, conducting research to update an ozone statistical model for Philadelphia.  Her work was funded through a fellowship with the National Science Foundation’s prestigious Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program.  Lexie (below) presented her research at the 2015 AMS conference and won the 2nd place Undergraduate Student Poster Award.  Her work was featured in a segment on WHYY public radio in Philadelphia on April 1, 2015.
